Essential Maintenance to the NSVS Portal

An essential upgrade to the NSVS Portal will take place on Monday March 31st between 17:30 and 20:30. The service will be unavailable to users during this time. Normal service will resume after this time. If you experience any difficulties after this time please contact the UKSV Helpdesk.

Sign in to access your account if:

  • you are a sponsor or a vetting subject with an ongoing application for clearance
  • you have already created an account to submit a Change of Personal Circumstances (CPC) form or a Security Appraisal Form (SAF)

Contact the UKSV Helpdesk at uksv-helpdesk@cabinetoffice.gov.uk and include your reference number and sponsor ID. The UKSV Helpdesk is available from Monday to Thursday between 08:00 and 17:00 and Friday between 08:00 and 13:00.

Staying secure online

National Security Vetting (NSV) reminds all users to ensure that devices are up to date when connecting to the NSVS portal. This includes using the latest version of your internet browser such as Chrome or Edge, antivirus or similar security, and the latest security updates applied.
